The GEL-KAYANO 20 revisits a distance-running design first released in 2013. Its intersecting lines draw inspiration from buildings and cars, reflecting ASICS’ approach to making support structures part of the shoe’s visual identity. A two-tone mesh upper sits beneath a crisscross TPU FLUIDFIT™ cage, which supports key areas of the foot for a close fit. The Smoke Grey/Piedmont Grey gives the layered construction a tonal finish, with an anodised treatment adding contrast to the cage. Dual GEL™ inserts provide cushioning, while the GUIDANCE TRUSSTIC™ system adds support underfoot. These features bring the original model’s emphasis on comfort and stability into everyday wear.
